Fabrizio Gandino has had diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Fabrizio began their career at FIAT Auto SpA as a Union Relations Manager from 1992 to 1994. Fabrizio then worked as a Manufacturing HR Manager at FIAT Auto Poland from 1994 to 1997. Following this, they served as the Human Resources Director at TNT Poland from 1998 to 2000. From 2001 to 2005, they worked as the HR Director for South America at TNT Logistics, managing HR policies and trade union issues in Brazil and Argentina. Fabrizio subsequently joined Ceva Logistics as the Human Resources Director from 2006 to 2007 and later as the Institutional Relations Director from 2007 to 2012, where they represented the company's interests and conducted country analysis. In 2011, they founded their own consulting firm called GANDINO & Partners, specializing in institutional relations and international business management. Finally, they joined Costa Crociere in 2013 as the Shipboard HR Director, responsible for transforming the work culture and enforcing HR policies on board vessels.

Fabrizio Gandino obtained a degree in Political Science from Università degli Studi di Torino from 1980 to 1984.
