Previous roles include Director and Associate Director positions focusing on product integrity and sustainability research, where responsibilities included managing safety compliance, department budgets, and external research projects. Michele's expertise in chemical processes is supported by a Master of Science in Textile Chemistry and a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from North Carolina State University.
