Fiona Hughes leads the marketing strategies for the Consumer Beauty business, consisting of color cosmetics, retail hair-color and styling, body care and lifestyle fragrances, including such iconic brands as COVERGIRL, Clairol, Max Factor, Adidas, Rimmel London and Bourjois, among others.
Fiona joined Coty in June 2019 bringing a passion for beauty and a 20+ year track record leading brands and teams to win through transformative marketing strategies. Most recently, Fiona was Chief Marketing Officer and Executive Committee member at Jacobs Douwe Egberts (JDE), the global coffee and tea maker whose iconic household brands are sold in more than 140 countries. At JDE, Fiona and her team reshaped the global vision, strategy and innovation map for a fragmented portfolio of brands, resulting in multi-market share gain. Prior to JDE, Fiona spent 12 years in global and country marketing roles at Mars Inc. around the world.
Fiona holds Bachelor degrees in Business (Marketing) & Arts (Japanese) from Swinburne University of Technology in Australia. She has lived and worked in Australia, Japan, UK, Belgium and is now based in Coty HQ in Amsterdam.
