Council for a Strong America
Sally Puleo joined Council for a Strong America in 2007. She is based in the Chicago office and oversees the organization’s state policy work, including the operations of the nine state offices from Maine to California. In her prior roles at the organization, she led state policy advocacy in Illinois as State Director of Mission: Readiness and State Deputy Director of Fight Crime: Invest in Kids. Previously, Sally was an advocate for sexual and domestic violence victims in urban and rural communities across the country. She is a graduate of the University of Kansas.
