Stuart Diamond is a multifaceted professional with extensive experience across various domains. As the Founder of Optimal Trust since January 2018, Stuart has developed a model and technology aimed at measuring and managing trust within organizations to enhance quality relationships. Stuart also serves as President of DiamondArts, engaging in entrepreneurship, writing, video production, and music composition since January 2017. Throughout a career spanning over two decades, Stuart co-founded Empowered Media and Empowered Medical Media, which revolutionized online medical marketing. As a Woodrow Wilson Visiting Fellow with the Council of Independent Colleges since 2008 and a former member of the Board of Trustees at the California Institute of Integral Studies, Stuart's contributions extend into academic and advisory roles. Stuart holds a B.A. in Philosophy and Music from Haverford College and an MFA from Sarah Lawrence College.

The Council of Independent Colleges (CIC) is an association of 765 nonprofit independent colleges and universities, state-based councils of independent colleges, and other higher education affiliates, that works to support college and university leadership, advance institutional excellence, and enhance public understanding of independent higher education’s contributions to society. CIC offers conferences, seminars, publications, and other programs and services that help institutions improve educational quality, administrative and financial performance, student outcomes, and institutional visibility. Founded in 1956, CIC conducts the largest annual conferences of college and university presidents and of chief academic officers in the United States.
