Jason Dempsey

Jason Dempsey serves as an Adjunct Senior Fellow at the Center for a New American Security, focusing on military, veterans, and society issues, and co-founded MILLIE, an online community designed to facilitate the military moving process. With extensive military experience as an Infantry Officer in the US Army from 1993 to 2015, Dempsey held key roles including Special Assistant to the Chairman at the Office of the Chairman, Joint Chiefs of Staff, and Combat Adviser to the Afghan Border Police during notable deployments. Dempsey's leadership capabilities were further demonstrated through a White House Fellowship and contributions to major initiatives such as the White House Task Force on Veterans and military family support. Dempsey holds a BS in American Politics from the United States Military Academy at West Point and a PhD in Political Science from Columbia University.
