Oliver Kharraz, MD, is the CEO and Founder of Zocdoc, where leadership has continued since 2007. Kharraz also serves as a Member of the Council on Foreign Relations since March 2018. Prior experience includes Associate Principal at McKinsey & Company from 2001 to 2007 and Medical Doctor at Klinikum Großhadern between 1998 and 2000. Kharraz founded and led Tavakol Computing from 1992 to 1995. Academic qualifications include a PhD and MD in Medicine from Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München, an MA in Philosophy from Hochschule für Philosophie München, and training as a Psychotherapist in Psychotherapy at Lindauer Psychotherapiewochen.
