Council on Foundations
Kathleen Enright has extensive experience in the nonprofit sector. Kathleen is currently the President and CEO of the Council on Foundations, a position they have held since March 2019. Prior to that, they served as the President and CEO of Grantmakers for Effective Organizations from November 2001 to December 2018. Earlier in their career, they held the role of Group Director, Marketing and Communications at BoardSource from March 1996 to November 2001.
Kathleen Enright pursued their education at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign from 1989 to 1992, where they earned their Bachelor's of Arts degree. During this time, they studied English and Political Science. Kathleen later attended The George Washington University from 1993 to 1995, completing their Master of Public Administration, specializing in Nonprofit Management.
