Director Of Finance at County of Maui

Scott Teruya has extensive work experience in finance and property tax administration. Scott began their career in 1997 as a Real Property Appraiser III at the City and County of Honolulu. In 2001, they joined PARADISE APPRAISALS as a Staff Appraiser until 2005. From 1997 to 2019, Teruya worked at the County of Maui, holding the role of County Real Property Tax Administrator. In January 2019, they were promoted to the position of Director of Finance, where they currently serve.

Scott Teruya, AAS holds a Bachelor of Business Administration - BBA degree with a field of study in Real Estate from the University of Hawaii at Manoa.
