Tara Campbell currently serves as the Mayor of Yorba Linda, a position held since February 2015, and notably became the youngest female mayor in California and U.S. history for cities with populations over 30,000 in 2019. In addition, Tara is the Chairwoman of the Parks and Recreation Commission, working to advise the city council and resolve community service-related conflicts. Previously, Tara held dual roles as Chief of Staff and Communications Director for the County of Orange and served as a Field Representative for the California State Assembly. Tara’s earlier experience includes working as a political reporter and anchor at Annenberg TV News and as part of the advocacy team at No Labels America. Academic credentials include a Master’s Degree in Public Administration from the USC Sol Price School of Public Policy and a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science and Broadcast and Digital Journalism from the University of Southern California.
