Nicholas Zinter

Nicholas Zinter currently serves as a Legislative Policy Advisor and Program Coordinator for the County of San Diego, where responsibilities include drafting and implementing policies, leading community engagement for the Alternatives to Incarceration Unit, and formulating countywide policies for Public Safety Group departments. Previous experience includes positions at USAID, where Zinter monitored humanitarian crises, and various roles within the County of San Diego, including Communications Manager and Information Officer, focusing on outreach and community engagement strategies. Zinter's background also includes work with the San Diego County Democratic Party, The Asia Foundation, and UNDP, alongside academic credentials in International Relations from UC San Diego and a Bachelor’s in Political Science from UC Santa Cruz.
