Osika Tripathi

Osika Tripathi is an experienced epidemiologist currently serving as Epidemiologist II for the County of San Diego since November 2023. Previously, Osika held positions as a Graduate Student Researcher at the University of California, San Diego, and as an Epidemiologist with the Seneca Nation Group, where responsibilities included managing HIV and STI surveillance studies, developing IRB protocols, and overseeing project budgets. Earlier roles included Research Analyst at Leidos, Data Coordinator at the University of California, San Diego - School of Medicine, and Graduate Research Assistant at the Academy for Professional Excellence. Osika possesses a strong academic background with a Joint Doctoral Program in Epidemiology from SDSU/UCSD, a Master of Public Health from San Diego State University, and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of California, Davis. Notably, Osika is a recipient of the Cornelius Hopper Diversity Award and has collaborated on multiple published research works.
