Michael Forrest

Michael Forrest serves as Vice President at Thoma Bravo since August 2019, with additional roles as a Board Observer for multiple companies, including Coupa Software, Bottomline Technologies, Auctane, Conga, and Instructure. Notably, Instructure went public in July 2021 and was sold to KKR for $4.8 billion in November 2024. Michael's involvement extends to Adenza, which was sold to Nasdaq for $10.5 billion in November 2023, and Frontline Education, sold to Roper Technologies for $3.7 billion in October 2022. Previously, Michael worked as an Investment Banking Analyst at Greenhill & Co. from June 2017 to June 2019, focusing on Mergers & Acquisitions. Michael holds a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering and Economics, magna cum laude, from Northwestern University, and completed a Certificate Program in Financial Economics at the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.
