Sherry Zastrow

Sherry Zastrow has worked in various roles since 2014. Sherry began as an Administrative Assistant at San Jacinto College in 2014. In 2016, they became a CEA/Intake Adviser for Sokolove Law Firm, where they collected customer information, provided feedback on accounts, set appointments, and handled customer complaints. In 2018, they worked as a Technical Support Analyst at P2 Energy Solutions, where they used their knowledge of SQL to write queries for potential issues in databases, create custom views, and to aid in fixing known issues. Sherry also worked as a Software Developer at Sarcasm Preferred, where they used their knowledge of database design, SQL, and normalization to assist with developing the database for a website. Additionally, they worked as a Developer at Tpgtex Label Solutions Inc, where they reduced projected completion time of website upgrade by 50% using knowledge of the command line and BASH, added additional features and communicated directly with clients regarding new features for their websites, and specialized in refactoring code, upstream management, and conversion between languages. Currently, they are working as an IT Generalist- Systems Engineer and DBA in Dev Ops at Covenant Eyes.

Sherry Zastrow began their educational journey in 2012, when they obtained an Associate's degree in Computer Science from San Jacinto College District. Sherry then continued their studies at San Jacinto College, obtaining an Associate's degree in General Studies. In 2015, they began studying at the University of Houston-Clear Lake, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science in 2018. In 2017, they began studying at Southern New Hampshire University and obtained a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science in 2019.
