Jim VanderSteeg has a strong background in healthcare administration. Jim started their career in 1989 as the Hospital CEO at Baptist Memorial Hospital and served in that role for 17 years. In 2007, they joined Covenant Health as the COO and later became the President and CEO in 2016. Jim'sexpertise and experience make him a valuable asset in the healthcare industry.
Jim VanderSteeg attended the University of Michigan from 2001 to 2002, studying Advanced Leadership in Healthcare. In 1987, they earned a Master of Science degree in Healthcare Administration from Trinity University. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from The University of Memphis, where they studied from 1982 to 1986. In 2011, Jim VanderSteeg also completed the Health Care System Reform Fellowship at the American Hospital Association.
