Richard Cooper has a diverse work experience in the legal field. Richard started their career as a Paralegal at Lavin, O'Neil, Ricci, Cedrone & DiSipio in June 2003. In November 2005, they transitioned to a role as a Coordinator of Contract Services at Coventry. Richard then moved up to become a Senior Loan Coordinator and later the Director of Loan Administration at Coventry. In February 2008, they also took on the role of Associate Counsel at Coventry, where they worked until March 2013 when they became a Senior Counsel. Richard continued to grow at Coventry, becoming the Assistant Vice President and Senior Counsel in February 2018, and ultimately the Senior Vice President and Assistant General Counsel in September 2020. Richard also worked as an Assistant General Counsel and Assistant Secretary at Heritage Life Insurance Company from December 2010 to December 2012.

Richard Cooper earned their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Sociology from Villanova University from 1999 to 2003. Following that, from 2003 to 2007, they attended Temple University - James E. Beasley School of Law and obtained their Doctor of Law (J.D.) degree.
