Carl Thompson

Carl Thompson is a seasoned entrepreneur and marketing professional with extensive experience in founding and leading multiple companies. Currently serving as Co-founder and CEO of SortMe since May 2023, Carl is focused on developing a global financial management application for households. Previously, as Creative Director at Foundation Digital in New Zealand from October 2020 to August 2023, Carl contributed to digital strategies. Carl co-founded Contento in 2017, serving as CEO until 2019, and founded Momentum Marketing in 2014, guiding it as Director and Marketer while providing comprehensive digital services. Earlier roles include Co-founder and CMO at TradeGecko, where Carl tackled complexities in sales cycle management, and CMO at Crowded Elevator, a streetwear label. Carl began a career in web management with Quicken NZ from 2004 to 2006.
