Andy Law

Andy Law serves as Senior Legal Counsel in the Law, Intellectual Property and Compliance (LIPC) department at Covestro since December 2020, providing legal and compliance support to sales operations across Asia Pacific and China. Previous experience includes roles as Managing Associate at Dentons, where Andy managed key client relationships and advised on corporate restructuring, and Regional Legal Counsel on secondment to BASF, focusing on antitrust compliance. Andy's legal career began as a Trainee Solicitor at Reed Smith Richards Butler and includes significant experience in mergers and acquisitions, capital markets, and corporate governance. Academic qualifications include a Juris Doctor from The Chinese University of Hong Kong, a Master’s degree from the University of Chicago, and a Master of Philosophy from The Chinese University of Hong Kong.
