Jaime MacIas

Jaime Macias is a seasoned professional in piping design, currently serving as a Senior Piping Designer at Covestro since June 2021. With extensive experience at KBR, Inc. from April 2007 to May 2021, Jaime has played pivotal roles as Design Supervisor Piping and Sr. Principal Piping Designer on numerous significant projects, including methanol production and various petrochemical facilities. Proficient in software such as Smart Plant 3D and PDMS, Jaime has contributed to projects across multiple industries, including refinery and LNG facilities. Jaime's earlier career includes positions in technical support, service advising at automotive companies, and teaching in mechanical and automotive educational institutions. Jaime holds an Engineer’s Degree from Universidad del Sol and an Associate’s Degree from EMAEM School of Automotive Mechanic.
