Metin Polat

Metin Polat has extensive experience in the engineering and materials industries, currently serving as a Key Account Representative for Covestro in the BU Coatings, Adhesives, and Specialties segment since February 2013. Prior to this role, Metin held positions as a Business Development Manager at DSM Engineering Plastics from August 2011 to February 2013 and as a Sales Executive at Bayer MaterialScience for over a decade, working in both the Coatings, Adhesives, and Specialties as well as Plastics business units. Metin began the professional career as a Construction Engineer at Mercedes Benz Turkey and as a Process Engineer at Ford Otosan. Academic credentials include a Master of Science degree in Automotive Engineering and a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering, both from Istanbul Technical University.
