Samir Hifri

Samir Hifri is an accomplished executive with extensive leadership experience in the chemical and financial sectors. Samir has served as Chairman and President of Covestro LLC since September 2015, previously holding roles including Senior VP and Managing Director and Country Group Head for the ASEAN Region. Prior to joining Covestro, Samir worked at Bayer from October 1998 to September 2015, where positions included Senior Vice President for Asia Pacific and VP for Japan and Korea, among others. Early career experience includes a role as Investment Analyst at UBS from January 1995 to October 1998. Samir Hifri holds an MBA in International Finance from Duquesne University and has completed Executive Education and General Management programs at IMD and INSEAD, respectively.
