Sarat Muddu

Sarat Muddu is an accomplished information security professional with extensive experience in various leadership roles. Currently serving as Deputy Chief Information Security Officer and Global Director of Security & Risk Oversight at Covington & Burling LLP since June 2022, Sarat has demonstrated expertise in enhancing security posture and compliance. Prior roles include Director of Information Security/CISO at Kelley Drye & Warren LLP, Information Security Manager at The George Washington University Hospital, and key positions focusing on systems security across multiple organizations, including Verizon Business and Dell Perot Systems. Sarat has also contributed to the security community as a member of The CISO Society and Aphinia. Educational credentials include a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology with a minor in Information Security from George Mason University, alongside ongoing studies at Carnegie Mellon University.
