Ali Safavi has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. In 2014, they worked as a Graduate Research Assistant at Kettering University. From 2016 to 2020, they were employed at Plug and Play Tech Center, where they held several roles including Sr. Associate, Principal, Director, Global Head of Insurtech, and Partner. In 2019, they co-founded VERO and served as the CEO until 2021. Currently, Ali Safavi is the CEO and Co-founder of COVU, a position they have held since 2022.
Ali Safavi obtained a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Computer Engineering from Kettering University, where they studied from 2014 to 2015. Prior to that, they attended Shiraz University from 2008 to 2013 and earned a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Electrical Engineering with a concentration in Control Engineering.
