Birgitte Martens

Birgitte Martens has had a diverse and extensive work experience. Birgitte started their career in 1999 at COWI as a Consultant and worked there until 2005. Following that, they joined the Association of Local Municipalities in Denmark as an Officer for a year. In 2007, Birgitte returned to COWI as a Senior Consultant, and over the years, they held various positions including Chief Project Manager and Head of Section. Most recently, they have been the Business Development Director at COWI, and currently holds the position of Leading Market Director. Throughout their career, Birgitte has gained expertise in proposal management, policy development, planning, and preparation of large infrastructure investment projects for international organizations and financing institutions.

Birgitte Martens completed their Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Business Administration and Management, General from Copenhagen Business School from 1991 to 1994. Birgitte then pursued their Master of Science (MSc) in International Business Administration from the same institution, completing it from 1994 to 1999.
