Søren Friis

Søren Friis is an experienced finance professional currently serving as Vice President of Commercial Finance & M&A at COWI since February 2012, where responsibilities include corporate M&A, deal-sourcing, and commercial leadership enhancement. Prior to this role, Søren held the position of Senior Director of Mergers & Acquisitions at COWI, overseeing M&A strategies, deal structuring, and providing analytical support to executive management and the Board of Directors. Søren also founded Friis business development, offering strategy and M&A advisory services. Previous experience includes investment management roles at LD Invest A/S, SEED Capital Denmark, and Invest Miljø A/S, along with consulting experience at Deloitte & Touche. Educational qualifications include an MSc in Finance & Strategy from Copenhagen Business School and various leadership and management courses.
