Mischa Heemskerk is a seasoned mechanical engineer with extensive experience in both engineering and business leadership. Currently serving as a Senior Mechanical Project Engineer at CowManager since March 2024, Mischa is focused on transforming prototype designs into production-ready products while implementing quality control across departments. As the owner of Mischa Sails since January 2001, Mischa has leveraged a four-time World Champion sailing background to design and produce award-winning sails. Additionally, in the role of Director at DNA Performance Sailing from October 2018 to October 2024, Mischa managed global brand strategy, marketing, sales, and product development. Previous experience includes a Senior Product Engineer position at FreshBed, specializing in innovative sleep systems, and roles as a Smart Card Expert at Chipper Nederland and a Designer Mechanical Engineer at Dero. Mischa holds an Engineer's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Technische Hogeschool Haarlem, obtained between 1993 and 1996.
