Aaron Sobel

Aaron Sobel is a Partner in Private Equity at Apollo Global Management LLC, where Aaron leads the Media and Telecom division. Sobel has been with Apollo since July 2011 and has held various board positions, including membership on the Board of Directors for The Mount Sinai Hospital's Surgery Advisory Board since August 2023, as well as serving on the boards of Brightspeed, Legendary Entertainment, 25madison, Cox Media Group, and Rackspace since their respective inception dates. Notably, Sobel was a board member at Endemol Shine Group from November 2016 until July 2020. Prior to his current roles, Sobel gained investment banking experience at Goldman Sachs and Morgan Stanley. Sobel holds a degree from the University of Michigan - Stephen M. Ross School of Business.
