Jonathan O'Brien

Jonathan O'Brien is an experienced news reporter and anchor currently working at Cox Media Group since May 2022, where responsibilities include anchoring live newscasts on WSB Radio in Atlanta and reporting from breaking news scenes. Previous positions include anchor/reporter at Jacobs Media Corporation, where local news was covered for AM 550 and FM 102.9, and news anchor for multiple stations at Oconee Radio Group, developing original stories and managing online content. O'Brien also served as news director at WGUR 95.3 FM, establishing a college radio news department, and worked as a legislative reporter for WRGC 88.3 FM, focusing on state political news. O'Brien has a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communication/Media Studies from Georgia College & State University, and is a Certified Radio Marketing Professional.
