Dave Lanning

Dave Lanning has a diverse work experience in the field of quality assurance and technical analysis. Dave started at EV1Servers.net in 2005 as a Web Technician Level I, providing frontline support for various hosting platforms. In 2007, they joined Hostgator.com as a Web Technician Level I, where they focused on cPanel-based hosting. Later in the same year, they also began working at cPanel as a Technical Analyst Level III, a role they held until 2011. At cPanel, they gained experience in quality assurance and technical analysis. From 2011 to 2021, they served as a Quality Assurance Analyst and eventually reached the position of Quality Assurance Analyst III. In 2021, they transitioned to the role of Quality Assurance Engineer 1 at cPanel where they are currently employed.

Dave Lanning began their education at Texas State University in 2001 and graduated in 2003 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science. Dave then attended Houston Community College from 2003 to 2006, where they obtained an Associate's degree in Java/Perl Development with a focus on Programming. In addition to their formal education, Dave Lanning has also received certifications from the ISTQB - International Software Testing Qualifications Board. Dave obtained the CTFL - Certified Tester Foundational Level certification in September 2014 and the CTAL-TA - Certified Tester Advanced Level - Test Analyst certification in June 2015.
