Cathy Higuera Keppel has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Cathy began their career in 1990 as an Assistant Marketing Director at Blockbuster Desert Sky Pavilion, where they played a crucial role in opening the outdoor amphitheatre and marketing the various concerts held there. Cathy then worked at Evening Star Productions as a Marketing professional from 1995 to 1999, promoting over 400 concerts annually before the company was sold. From 2002 to 2008, Cathy served as the Brand Marketing/Special Events Director at Univision Radio. Currently, they hold the position of Director of Events & Special Projects at Chicanos Por La Causa, Inc. (CPLC), a position they have held since August 2021. Prior to that, they started as an Event Planner at the same company in 2014.
Cathy Higuera Keppel earned their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Broadcasting from Arizona State University. Cathy studied at the university from 1985 to 1990.
