CPM EDUCATIONAL PROGRAM
Royce Chun is a software engineer with extensive experience in various roles and projects. Currently, at Hack for LA since February 2023, Royce is developing HomeUniteUs, a workflow management tool aimed at streamlining efforts for community non-profits. Previous positions include software engineering tutor at Firefly Tutors since October 2022 and full stack engineer at Software Engineering Applications, where Royce contributed to the development of a multiplayer card game. Royce's expertise spans back-end, front-end, and full-stack development, having built RESTful microservices, optimized database queries, and implemented performance enhancements for web applications. Academic credentials include a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Management from the University of Southern California and further education at Hack Reactor and California State University, Fullerton. Additional roles include supplemental instruction leader in the Physics Department and behavioral therapist at ACES.

CPM Educational Program strives to make middle school and high school mathematics accessible to all students. It does so by collaborating with classroom teachers to create problem-based textbooks and to provide the professional development support necessary to implement them successfully.
