James Gergen

James Gergen is an experienced financial leader with a strong background in the credit union sector. Currently serving as CEO at CPM Federal Credit Union since February 2013, Gergen previously held interim leadership roles such as Interim CEO at Remington Federal Credit Union and Interim Chief Operating Officer at Texans Credit Union during a period of conservatorship. Gergen also provided consulting expertise at Arrowhead Credit Union and Memphis Area Teachers' Credit Union. Prior to credit unions, Gergen held senior leadership positions at Wachovia and World Savings, overseeing large teams and significant customer service operations. Gergen holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Stanford University.
