Cheryl Smith's work experience includes founding and managing CPR Choice, a company that provides CPR, First Aid, and Bloodborne pathogen training. Cheryl also sells and offers training for automated external defibrillators. Additionally, Cheryl served as the President of East Tennessee Healthcare Executives from 2011 to 2013. Prior to that, they worked as a Contract Analyst at both Blount Memorial Hospital from 2008 to 2010 and Baptist Health System from 2005 to 2008. Before entering the healthcare industry, Cheryl was the Professional Ladder Coordinator at St. Luke's Regional Medical Center from 1999 to 2004. Cheryl began their career at Bodybuilding.com, where they worked in customer service from 1998 to 1999.
Cheryl Smith completed their MBA in Healthcare at Lincoln Memorial University from 2006 to 2007. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Health Science and Business from Boise State University, where they studied from 1999 to 2004.
In terms of additional certifications, Cheryl obtained the title of CPR Instructor from the Health & Safety Institute (HSI) in 2014 and from the American Red Cross in 2013. Additionally, they obtained a BLS Instructor certification from the American Heart Association | American Stroke Association in 2002.
