Melanie Green

Melanie Green has a comprehensive work experience spanning over several decades in the energy industry. Melanie began their career in 1979 as an Associate Engineer at TXU Energy, where they later held roles as a Mechanical Engineer and a Tech Services Supv; Performance Engineer. In 1994, they joined Golden Valley Electric Association as a Plant Engineer II before moving to Central Electric Power Cooperative in 1996, where they served as the Operations Manager/Engineer until 2003. From 2003 to 2013, Melanie worked at CPS Energy as the Director of Power Plant before transitioning to the role of Director of Strategic Planning & Analysis. In 2014, they became the Sr. Director of Engineering & Technical Services and eventually assumed the position of Sr. Director of Coal/Gas Generation Operations in February 2016.

Melanie Green holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Missouri-Columbia. Melanie has an additional certification as a Texas PE.
