Andrew Carey

Andrew Carey, CQE EIT, currently serves as the New Product Development Manager and Senior Quality Assurance Manager at CPS Technologies Corp. since May 2023. Prior to this role, Andrew was the Quality Assurance Manager at Aspen Aerogels from July 2021 to May 2023, where responsibilities included overseeing Supplier Development, Raw Material Qualification, and customer satisfaction initiatives. Andrew's previous experience includes roles as Quality Assurance Manager, QA Laboratory Manager, and Process Engineer at Prysmian Group, specializing in thermoset and thermoplastic extrusion processes. Earlier professional experience includes process engineering at The Dennis Group for a large bottling facility and internships at Millipore focusing on procurement and sustainability projects. Andrew holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute, where significant project work included plant design and nanoparticle research.
