Jane Healy is a seasoned academic and community volunteer with extensive experience in criminology and social research. Currently serving as a Community Volunteer for the Crown Prosecution Service since October 2011, Jane participates in both the London Scrutiny & Involvement Panel and the Wessex Hate Crime Panel. As a Principal Academic at Bournemouth University since September 2017, Jane has continued to contribute to the field through teaching and engaging in research projects, including a focus on hate crime. Having completed a PhD in Criminology at Middlesex University, Jane's research interests include the intersectionality of disability and marginalization. Academic credentials include a BA in Psychology from University College Dublin and multiple advanced degrees in criminology and research methods from Middlesex University.
