Oscar Yap

Oscar Yap is a dedicated legal professional with extensive experience in various legal roles, currently serving as a Paralegal Officer at Crown Prosecution Service since October 2022 and previously held positions as a Paralegal Assistant. Oscar has completed multiple mini pupillages at prestigious firms including QEB Hollis Whiteman, Foundry Chambers, and Three Raymond Buildings. Prior to legal roles, Oscar served as Head of Sports and Activities at Ardmore Language Schools Ltd, where responsibilities included implementing activity programmes and supervising staff. Oscar also gained valuable insight into commercial law during an internship at Fortuna & Charis, which involved drafting articles on Nigerian IP law and crisis management. Educational qualifications include a Bar Practice Course at The University of Law and an LLB in Law from the University of Sussex, complemented by foundational education at St Bernard’s Catholic Grammar School and Orleans Park School.
