Gareth Kingston has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Gareth is currently the Head of Professional Development at CQI | The Chartered Quality Institute, where they are responsible for establishing a new function to deliver professional development services to quality professionals and management systems auditors globally. Prior to this, Gareth worked as the Head of Membership at CQI from 2016 to 2022. Additionally, Gareth has co-founded and served as the Creative Director of All Things Quiz, a YouTube channel focused on promoting the sport of quizzing and improving equity, diversity, and inclusion within the field. Gareth has also worked as a Question Author on a freelance basis since 2015. Gareth has contributed to the NTFC match day programme and is currently a Volunteer and Trustee of the NTFC Charitable Foundation. Gareth has previous experience as a Membership and Marketing Manager at the Royal College of Surgeons of England and as an umpire in cricket. Gareth has also held roles as an Interim Centre Manager at the Brighton Black & Minority Ethnic Community Partnership, a Consultant on a self-employed basis, and a Business Development Director at GrantScape. Gareth has a strong background in marketing, strategy development, and membership management.

Gareth Kingston attended the University of Kent from 1991 to 1994, where they obtained a BA (hons) degree in History. Gareth studied at the university for three years, focusing on the field of History.
