Liam Acres has a diverse work experience in the field of IT and software development. Liam started their career as a Junior Software Engineer at Brave New World ~ Future Tech Studio in 2019. Liam then worked as a Junior Systems Analyst at Public Services and Procurement Canada | Services publics et Approvisionnement Canada, where they were responsible for creating QA tests and developing a workflow for image storage and retrieval. Liam joined AXIS (AXIS Capital) in 2020 and served as a Coop Developer, working on ABBYY for document ingestion and SQL data manipulation. Liam was later promoted to a Software Developer role, where they managed various projects, including the implementation of automation tools and workflows using Microsoft Power Platform, Pipefy, and DevOps. Currently, Liam is working as an IT Engineer 1 at C&R Software since 2022.

Liam Acres attended Dalhousie University from 2017 to 2021, where they pursued a Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) degree in Computer Science. In September 2020, they obtained certifications in C# & .NET programming and Microsoft SQL Server 2019 from LinkedIn. In April 2022, they became a certified ABBYY Vantage Business Analyst from ABBYY Prod.
