Anne Johnstone

Anne Johnstone currently serves as the Head of School at Cranbrook School and has extensive experience in educational leadership, having held positions such as Principal at Ravenswood School for Girls and Seymour College, as well as Deputy Headmistress and Head of Junior School at St Catherine's School. In addition to their role at Cranbrook, Johnstone is involved with the International Positive Psychology Association as Associate Chair of the IPPA World Congress 2025 and leads the International Positive Education Network as Global Chair. Johnstone is also Chair of the Excellence in Leadership and Teaching Council for the Association of Independent Schools of NSW and was a founding director of the Positive Education Schools Association. Academic qualifications include a PhD in Education and Positive Psychology from the University of Melbourne, a Master of Applied Positive Psychology from the University of Pennsylvania, and a Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Laws from Macquarie University, among others.
