Scott Deaton has a diverse work experience spanning over 30 years. Scott began their career as a Loan Officer/Compliance Coordinator at Peoples Bank and Trust Company in 1988. In 1992, they transitioned to the role of Sales Representative at Standard Register Company. From 1994 to 1996, Deaton served as an Account Executive at Dean Witter Reynolds, where they focused on sales of stocks, bonds, and mutual funds to high net worth individuals. Their role at DeRoyal Industries as an Area Manager - Acute Care and Cardiology from 1996 to 2002 allowed him to significantly increase the annual area sales and achieve notable sales growth in the cardiovascular segment.
Deaton joined McKesson Provider Technologies in 2002, where they held various positions, including Sr. Medication Safety Consultant/Mentor, Director of Sales Strategy - Automation, and Sales Vice President - Central West. During their time at McKesson, they achieved several awards and recognition, including the Automation President's Circle and the Big Game Hunter Award.
From 2012 to 2016, Deaton worked at Aesynt, first as the Vice President of Customer Care and then as the Vice President of Enterprise Sales. At Aesynt, they focused on establishing a culture of customer care and led a startup division after a major sales reorganization.
Currently, Deaton holds the position of Vice President of Revenue Strategy and Enablement at Craneware, where they collaborate with healthcare providers to plan, execute, and monitor value-based economic performance.
Throughout their career, Deaton has demonstrated strong leadership and a track record of driving sales growth and implementing strategic initiatives.
Scott Deaton attended Mississippi State University - College of Business and Industry from 1984 to 1988. Scott pursued a BBA degree with a focus on Finance during this period.
