Brian Munkholm

Brian Munkholm is an accomplished technology leader with extensive experience in engineering and technical program management. Currently serving as the Director of Technical Program Management at CrateDB since September 2024, Brian previously held the position of Lead Technical Program Manager at MongoDB from May 2019 to March 2024, where leadership focused on Realm product development across multiple development teams. Brian's career includes impactful roles such as VP Engineering at Realm, where responsibility encompassed building a comprehensive database solution and scaling the engineering team across several countries. Brian also contributed to startups and larger corporations, including Broadcom, Radiometer Medical, and Intel Denmark, demonstrating expertise in software development, project management, and quality assurance. Brian holds a B.Sc. in Computer Science from the Technical University of Denmark, complemented by business education from Niels Brock Business College.
