Akhil Virk has a diverse work experience in various roles related to operations, programmatic and social operations, account executive, paid social media account executive, and digital marketing assistant. Akhil started their career in 2016 as a Digital Marketing Assistant at NEXA Creative, where they handled social media marketing campaigns, contributed to email marketing, and oversaw sales meetings. In 2018, they worked as a Social Media Intern at Cash and Rocket, where they were responsible for handling international paid and organic social media marketing campaigns, setting up events online, and managing the website. Akhil also worked extensively on data collection and management using MS Excel and Crowdrise. Later in 2018, they joined Havas London as a Paid Social Media Account Executive. In this role, they focused on paid social media campaigns. In 2019, they joined CRATE Media Group as an Account Executive, where they worked until 2021. Then they were promoted to Programmatic and Social Operations Manager and, most recently, Operations Director.

Akhil Virk has a comprehensive education history. Akhil completed their International Baccalaureate Diploma at GD Goenka World School from 2011 to 2015, focusing on High School/Secondary Diplomas and Certificates. Prior to that, they obtained a degree in IGCSE from DPS International from 2005 to 2011, with a focus on General Studies. Akhil then pursued further education at Middlesex University from 2016 to 2018, where they obtained a degree in International Business Administration, specializing in Business Administration, Management, and Operations. In addition to their formal education, Akhil also obtained certifications in digital marketing from the Delhi School of Internet Marketing in December 2015.
