Chris Fernando has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Chris started their career as a Co-op Engineering contractor at Dispensource in 2005 and then worked as a Sales Consultant at NUS Consulting Group from 2008 to 2009. After that, they served as a Business Development Manager at LED Lighting Gallery from 2009 to 2011, where they contributed to the growth of the company's high-end LED lighting solutions. Chris then joined Energy Network Services Inc. as a Business Development Manager from 2011 to 2013, where they secured contracts and implemented logistics solutions to achieve cost savings. From 2014 to 2017, they served as a Key Account Manager and Business Development Manager at Airline Services International, where they developed a key account program and boosted sales. In 2020, they joined The Outdoor Group as a Vice President, Strategy & Partnerships, where they delivered successful strategies resulting in increased bookings and secured partnerships. Most recently, they joined Slate Strategies in 2017 as a Partnerships & Strategy professional, working with Greentech businesses to drive growth and expand market share. Chris also holds the position of President of CRDC Canada, a company focused on converting plastic waste into an eco-aggregate called RESIN8™.
