José Barquero

José Barquero has a diverse work experience in various companies. José currently serves as the Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) at CRDC Global, where they lead and scales the Sales, Business Development, and Customer Success teams. Prior to this, they were the Innovation & Business Developer Director at CRDC Global, where they advanced the vision, strategy, and thinking methodologies used for innovation and developed stakeholder relationships.

Before joining CRDC Global, José held multiple roles at The Dow Chemical Company. José was the Site Leader, overseeing operations at a specific location, and also engaged in New Business Development, identifying potential clients and synergies. Additionally, they served as a Senior Sales Manager, leading sales operations for the Packaging and Specialty Plastics business in the Central America and Caribbean region.

Earlier in their career, José worked as a Regional Commercial Manager at GRUPO MATHIESEN, where they were responsible for budgeting and project management. José also held a similar role at Quelaris, where they managed budgets and negotiated with suppliers and clients.

José began their career at Boston Scientific as a Quality PD Technical Service professional, conducting control tests, inspecting products, and providing support to the Product Development department.

José Barquero earned a degree in Industrial Production Engineering from Tecnológico de Costa Rica in 2009. José later pursued a Master's degree in Business Administration, specializing in Finance, at the same institution from 2013 to 2017.
