Previously, Sofia held roles as Senior Project Lead and Project Lead focused on cybersecurity, counterproliferation, and sanctions enforcement. Prior to this, Sofia worked at American University School of International Service as Assistant Director of Career Outreach and Programming, contributing to student engagement and career development. Sofia has also accumulated extensive experience in admissions counseling, digital communications, and program coordination through various roles at Hamline University, including Admissions Counselor and Digital Newsletter Coordinator, alongside positions in educational and non-profit settings. Sofia holds a Master’s degree in Ethics, Peace, and Human Rights from American University and a Bachelor's degree in Middle Eastern and Global Studies from Hamline University.
