Ben Cameron has a diverse work experience in various fields. Ben started their career as an Engineering Intern at Pratt & Whitney in 1999. Ben then worked as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at the University of Virginia for a brief period before returning to Pratt & Whitney as a Graduate Research Assistant in 2001. Ben worked in this role for six years until 2007. Ben then joined 2rw Consultants, Inc. as an Energy Specialist and later became a Senior Energy Director. After their time at 2rw Consultants, Inc., Ben joined Creare in 2009 as an R&D Engineer, where they are currently working.
Ben Cameron has a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering from the University of Virginia. Ben also has a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Aerospace Engineering from the same university. In addition, they hold certifications as a Remote/Drone Pilot and as a Private Aircraft Pilot from the Federal Aviation Administration, which they obtained in December 2016 and November 1999, respectively.
