Helen W. is an accomplished software engineer with extensive experience in full-stack development and project management. Currently serving as Co President and Project Lead at LA Blueprint, Helen leads the development of mobile applications and online marketplaces using technologies such as React Native, Javascript, and Airtable. Concurrently, Helen is a Software Engineer Intern at Reddit, Inc. and has held positions as Project Manager and Frontend Developer at Creative Labs, where the WeChews mobile app was developed. Previous internships include a software internship at Oracle, creating asynchronous jobs in Java, and work at HealthFreelance.com LLC, where a customer support chatbot was designed. Helen's academic background includes a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from UCLA, supplemented by research experience in astrophysics.

Creative Labs brings together the designers, developers, and creatives of UCLA to work on a wealth of innovative projects! In the past, we've hosted a Creative Jam with Adobe, speaker events with Facebook and Instagram, created projects for the City of LA, and have built award winning web projects.
