Shawn Doria

Shawn Doria is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in backend engineering and technology leadership. Currently serving as a Staff Software Engineer at Credit Karma, Shawn leads teams in designing and delivering scalable solutions for Core Product initiatives. Prior roles at Credit Karma included Senior Software Engineer II, where Shawn led backend efforts on key projects such as identity protection and dark web breach monitoring, and Software Engineer, focusing on growth and engagement technologies. Previous experience includes a Lead Software Engineer position at GE Oil & Gas, contributing to R&D on ultrasonic flow meters and analytical tools, utilizing C/C++ and JavaScript. Shawn's early career also featured an internship at NASA Goddard Space Flight Center, developing visualization tools. Shawn holds a Master's Degree in Computer Information Science from the University of Pennsylvania and a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Systems Engineering from Boston University.
