Paromita (Paro) Guha, PhD, is a seasoned professional in data science and analytics, currently serving as the Manager and Data Science and Analytics Leader at Credit Sesame since August 2021, and also as a part-time faculty member at Northeastern University College of Professional Studies since January 2023. Paro co-founded Axiomatic Data in February 2019, an early-stage Fintech startup focused on quantitative data and analytics. Previous experience includes a Data Science Fellowship at Insight Data Science, where Paro developed machine learning algorithms to reduce customer churn, and served as VP of Enterprise Data Analytics & Business Strategy at BizQualify, LLC, where Paro collaborated on fintech data products. Academic experience includes a role as Assistant Professor of Economics and Statistics at St. John Fisher College. Paro holds a Ph.D. in Economics from the University at Buffalo, complemented by a Master's degree from the same institution and another Master's degree from the University of Calcutta, along with foundational education at the Indira Gandhi Institute of Development Research, Mumbai.
